We recommend! The food and service are superb. Everything is freshly prepared with love. The regional and seasonal menu leaves nothing to be desired. The ambience is great, very neat and furnished with a lot of love. As a photographer, I was allowed to accompany a wedding party at the Engel guest house. Despite Corona, the company spent unforgettable hours in a relaxed atmosphere and told me that they were completely enthusiastic. The price-performance ratio is also great. I really enjoy going out to eat with friends and acquaintances.

Baby bed wasn't a problem either 😃 A beautiful beer garden with great attention to detail ❤️ Late dining due to our late arrival was not a problem. Hospitality is very important here! Breakfast was my personal highlight! You immediately feel good. We would love to come back ❤️

Stayed at the guest house last weekend. I had a lot of fun and will definitely return there again. The food was delicious and the staff friendly. The interiors are very cozy and you want to linger a little longer. The outside area is particularly beautiful. The rooms are also very well maintained. Have a look, it's worth it.

Great inn with a beautiful beer garden in an idyllic location. The food is great and huge portions at fair prices. Always worth a visit ... whether after a hiking or cycling tour. Family celebrations or weddings can also be held here in a great atmosphere. And a guesthouse with cozy rooms is attached to the inn. The bosses Tomy and Stefan praise for what they have achieved in recent years

We love going to the Engel guesthouse. No matter what day you are here, the staff is always quick, friendly and professional. The food comes in large portions and tastes very good. The beautiful beer garden alone is worth the trip. Conclusion: highly recommended. Always my pleasure

Spent a weekend in Siegerland (North Rhine-Westphalia) with good friends. We booked at Gasthaus Engel in Wilden (Wilnsdorf). As soon as we arrived we sat in the beautiful beer garden with cold wheat and apple spritzer. We came with dogs. Our 3 fur noses were allowed to move freely in the garden. None of the guests was bothered by it. We liked that very much. The hosts Stefan and Tomy Engel also have 2 dogs themselves. The beer garden is beautiful and created with love. Then moved into the room. You really can't complain here. I slept great for 2 nights. Unfortunately, that rarely happens to me when I'm away from home. Breakfast is not normally provided here as it is a guest house and not a hotel. But we still got a delicious breakfast twice. After a trip to Siegen we visited the castle with its beautiful park. Then on foot the pedestrian zone with its many small shops in the old town all the way down to the shopping center. One should be good on foot, because it was always downhill. We then drove to the castle with the Hübbelbummler. Unfortunately it was raining and we couldn't walk with the dogs to the many beautiful places like the pond. So now for dinner. So if you can't find anything in this menu, you can't help. There is a very good selection for schnitzel fans and vegetarians. We had hash browns with salmon, Greek farmer's salad, really delicious schnitzel variations, tagiatelle with salmon cubes and various desserts. Recommendations for the day such as deer with chanterelles can be read on the boards. Just look at the pictures. So if you like to eat well, this is the place for you. The kitchen and service are just great. Fast and friendly as it should be. The only negative is that we have to leave again today. It was so nice. But we will definitely come back. That's for sure. Kudos to the angels. Please keep it up. 👍

Actually, I didn't understand why there was a party next to our reservation and not even care about the scandal and noise they were doing, when we ask about what could be done, they answer without worries with a simple "nothing...". The service for ordering was really reluctant.

It was the worst experience in a pension in my whole life. Very bad services, no heating, the head of the pension is a mad man, without politeness, and he kicked me and my friend out early than the contract said.
